I. Product Overview:


RF-Power-Meter-V7.0 series is a high-performance, low-cost portable TYPE-C simple RF power meter. It provides 5V power supply and high-speed data communication through TYPE-C. It is easy to use, compact, easy to carry, stable performance, high accuracy, preset bias, wide dynamic range, and fast measurement speed. The software supporting this power meter allows users to configure the power meter on the PC and makes data recording and sharing simple.



RF-Power-Meter-V7.0 RF power meter advantages:


1. Supports a variety of high-speed dynamic acquisition, up to 500kbps (2uS) under host computer acquisition;
2. Supports up to 10GHz RF signal acquisition function;
3. Built-in digital programmable attenuator (0-31.75DB), with the maximum input power measured by the digital attenuator is 30dBm (1W), dynamic range: +30dBm to -60dBm.
4. The power meter V7.0 comes with a 1.3-inch TFT LCD and built-in Li battery, and can run offline;
5. It uses a 4-port aviation plug to provide TTL serial port read and write functions, and provides single and continuous data reading modes.
6. The host computer has 2 MARK cursor functions, which is convenient for measuring the modulation pulse width; automatically calculate the maximum and minimum values; the maximum storage depth is 500 points; support pause, data save and export functions.
7. RF input interface: N-type male plug.
8. Power-on process: Check whether the battery switch is in the ON position, then press the middle button on the panel, and then press and hold the right direction key.

9. Power-off process: Press and hold the middle button to turn off the light machine.

1. Measurement power range -60~+30dBm (0 to -40dbm has good linearity. When the input signal is greater than 0 to +30dbm, the internal digital attenuator ATT=30DB, OFFSET=+30DB can be set. The measured power value is displayed after actual measurement

10. TFT display information description:

 

Freq: frequency setting, this data is key input, used to calibrate the detection error at different frequencies, not the value measured by the power meter.
Power: measured power value unit W
dBm defines miliwatt (milliwatt). 0 dBm=1mw;
dBW defines watt. 0 dBW= 10lg1W= 10lg1000mw = 30dBm
ATT: internal digital attenuator value of the power meter. Attenuation range: 0 to 31.75DB. This value needs to be set when measuring signals greater than 0 dBm, so that the measurement accuracy is better.
Offset: linear offset setting value.
The first function: when ATT is added, the offset needs to be set through offset;
The second function: calibrate the interface error;
The third function: if an external amplifier is added or there is a standard signal source, the relative error can be set through this value.
